Knight will guard the road goal against Vegas on Sunday, according to Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.
Knight is slated to start on the road against the Kings on Wednesday, per George Richards of Florida Hockey Now.
The No. 13 pick in the 2019 NHL Draft was the first goaltender born in the 2000s to play in the NHL, and has all the tools to be one of the league's best. Has good size (6’3”) and will fill out as he moves toward the prime of his career. Relies on good positioning to make difficult saves look routine. Thinks the game well for a young netminder, though he has to learn not to overplay shots by being too quick when moving laterally.
Long Range Potential: Big, talented franchise goaltender.
